I have been asked about the effects of Dystonia:
I picked the above viideo because it most closley resembles what my hands look like during a dystonia attack and reflects what I feel like as far as level of pain. The pain can be excruciating
and stop you, I have dropped things but try not to let people see how much pain I am feeling.
I have dystonia in my neck, shoulder, left hand and what they refer to as fragments of torsion dystonia throughout my body. But my hand has been where
I feel the highest level of pain There is not alot you can do about it, although pushing against the contracting does seem to give some relief afterwards.
